My name is Lis. I'm a travesti and was born in the countryside of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2002. With ever-shifting roots, I've called more than fifteen different cities “home” throughout my life, an experience that’s taught me to embrace the flexibility of freelancing.
I began working in publishing in 2022 as a layout designer, but quickly discovered my true passion lies in the written word. Since then, I’ve completed numerous courses in the field and begun my Master’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology.
Today, I work with translation & version (PT-ES and PT-EN), developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, and cultural consulting, as well as writing fiction, games, and academic texts for various companies.
